We support you in refrigeration engineering
applications with the following products:

Evaporators
Condensers
Economizers
Spray chillers
Heat exchangers
for NH³  absorption refrigeration plant

De-heaters
Oil coolers
Separators
Receivers and so forth

Spray-Chillers (Irrigation evaporator)
-Low quantity of refrigerant
-High specific cooling power
-Good protection against freezing up, as the pipes are not submerged in the refrigerant
-Integrated liquid separator
-Power range approx. 500-5000 kW

Picture: A total of 12 spray chillers are used in a polypropylene production plant at Geleen in the Netherlands. The cooling plant was installed by Sabroe, and has a total power of 25 MW.
Because it was possible that, in the event of a fault, hot water (90°C) would reach the apparatus, a design based on hairpin bundles was selected, in which unacceptable thermal tensions cannot develop. Because the inner pipes are not submerged in the refrigerant, there is again no need to fear that boiling will occur in the apparatus.

Heat exchangers for NH³ absorption refrigeration plant

Absorption refrigeration plant consists primarily of heat exchangers such as absorbers, ejectors, condensers and exchangers for the heat of solution.
-Ammonia is used as a refrigerant.
-The equipment is most often manufactured of carbon steel.
-Dimensioning, design and the combination of materials depend on the particular
 application.
